How do I upload documents?

Processing typically completes within seconds to a few minutes. Once processed, documents open in the interactive editor for review.

However, no automated system is perfect, which is why RedactifyAI is built as a human-in-the-loop tool: every detection is surfaced for your review before redactions are finalized. The system also detects confidential markers such as attorney-client privilege labels in legal documents. Documents on the free plan are automatically deleted after 24 to 48 hours. On paid plans, you control how long documents are retained and can delete them at any time from your workspace. You maintain full control over the redaction process. No redaction is applied permanently until you explicitly confirm it. On Starter and higher plans, you can configure how long documents are retained through the Settings page, and you can delete individual documents or entire projects at any time. When you cancel a subscription, stored documents are deleted according to our data retention policy at the end of your billing period. How do I upgrade or change my plan?

You can upgrade, downgrade, or change your RedactifyAI plan at any time directly from within the app. To change your plan, log in and navigate to the Subscription page, which shows your current plan, billing cycle, seat count, and renewal date. From there, select a new plan or adjust your seat count. Upgrades take effect immediately. You will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing period and gain access to the new plan's features and page limits right away. Downgrades and seat reductions take effect at the next billing cycle; you retain your current plan's features and limits until then.
